Directors and Officers Insurance ( D&O)

As a director or an officer of a business or organisation you can be held personally responsible for a range of issues which include heath and safety, bad financial practice, negligence, data protection and numerous other things.

If you can be seen as acting outside of what could be reasonably required of you or are in breach of any agreement contractual or within the law, this can give rise to a claim. D&O insurance will cover you for claims for compensation and legal fees so long as the act for which you are being sued was not a deliberate act.
