Public Liability Insurance

If members of the public are going to visit you, or you are going to visit them, PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE (PL) is required.

PL covers the award of damages to a member of the public as a result of a personal injury or damage to their property caused by the negligence of you or your business.

It is common practice for a potential or existing customer to request sight of PL insurance certificates when negotiating a contract. Banks and other financial institutions frequently ask for sight of the certificate during the normal loan review processes.
